This TV seems great and seems fantastic. But don’t allow it fool you!! Is horrible. Got it shipped to the house nowadays. Hooked it up and looked fantastic….. for a bout 5 minutes!!!!!!! the TELEVISION just switched off by itself and I was able to turn onto it back on. Turned away again (in regards to a total of 6-7 occasions) ultimately, it travelled! can’t turn it back on and there exists a blinking green light within the front from the TV. Terrible!!! 698$!! kidding me personally! worked regarding 5 minutes! Called Toshiba and after becoming hung through to 2XS somebody finally told me that the merchandise is listed under somebody else’ name for the warranty and that the TELEVISION was sent in for the same issue Now i’m having four months in the past! Dec 2011. My parents use a toshiba laptop and they had to cover someone 200! to repair it. All they did had been upgrade their internet with a faster speed along with a different router, and in which caused to allow them to have to be able to re-config their entire notebook which took almost all day! tc-p50gt30 I currently use these minor changes on each HDMI1 and HDMI2 inputs. I conjointly kept the pictue in “Standard” mode, which I have infrequently done on several past TVs. continuously had to regulate them to induce additional vibrant color, etc. Not with this set. The “Standard” was exceptional right out of the box (again, you have to show the C.A.T.S to off, so your room lighting is not the changing the brightness on you). don’t have any intention of calibrating at this point (I do have a calibrater stored some where).

lg 60pv450 recently upgraded from a sony 40 in lcd (40w4100), which developed dead pixels once eighteen months. this tv is amazing, considering the price! it cost but what i procured the 40in sony. that was a bit of junk! this LG upgrade now provides me consistent blacks and nice a hundred and eighty degree viewing angles. the picture appearance flawless from a wide angle. even the stand will swivel twenty degrees for ease of use and convenience. the amount of customizations for the picture settings are unbelievable. also, it’s energy economical and will not give heat just like the recent plasmas: only $40 per year on 5 hours/day use at eleven cents per kwatt of electricity. This 42pt350 is my initial plasma set, having bought an LCD TV in 2005. the image is remarkable for movies and games. The Intelligent sensor that modify the image levels works fine. some of the other image settings, like cinema and games, are brighter than the sensor sometimes sets for the TV. but i do not feel a necessity to adjust the image quality. As for sound, i am unable to say because the set is connected to a home theater. The TV has an ample variety of connections. it does have a small lag when switching between inputs, something that wasn’t evident in my previous TV. (more…)
